Hey! Looking for the best tripod for vlogging with my future Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. So many options! Ideally something compact and sturdy. Aiming for something under $100. Any specific tripod recommendations for phone vlogging?

So everyone's hitting on the pre-made kits, but tbh i think building your own custom rig is the way to go. Like mentioned above, there's a lot of market saturation with plastic junk, and the S25 Ultra is gonna be a heavy phone to balance. I totally agree that you gotta be careful with knockoffs. If you want something that actually lasts, try the DIY/self-service approach instead of a 'vlogging kit' in a box: * Use a solid metal phone clamp with a locking screw (way safer than springs)
* Grab a separate cold shoe extension for your mic or lights
* Find a standard mini ball head that can handle the weight Basically, it's like building a PC vs buying a pre-built. It lets you swap out parts as you go and usually feels a lot more sturdy for daily use. Plus you dont have to worry about the 'vlogging' tax on the price tag!

Hey! For phone vlogging, I've found the Joby GorillaPod Mobile Rig surprisingly stable, even in wind. Over the years, I've tried many tripods, and this one's the most versatile for phones. Just be extra careful securing your S25 Ultra; phone security is paramount! Consider a safety strap too; better safe than sorry. I got mine for around $80.

Forget tripods, explore smartphone gimbals. DJI Osmo Mobile offers superior stabilization for smoother footage. Unfortunately, tripods with phones had issues with vibrations.

Skip fancy! Joby GorillaPod is decent, under $30. Phone adapters are cheap. Works well enough.

Joby's GorillaPod's dominance suggests solid value. Market saturation affects pricing; be careful of knockoffs.
