TL;DR: Whitestone Dome Glass UV Gen Screen Protector for Galaxy S26 Ultra is the most reliable if you can handle the setup. UV kits look scary cuz of the liquid but they honestly fit the best with the fingerprint sensor. If that sounds too messy, Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for Samsung S26 Ultra is way easier to slap on and still super durable. Both work great tho.

• Honestly, I totally disagree about needing those super expensive glass kits! They are such a headache to put on and way too pricey imo. If you are mainly worried about scratches like you mentioned, you can save a ton of cash and get something that works just as well without the stress. I am obsessed with the flexible film protectors lately! They are so much easier to swap out if they get a little dinged up. You should definitely check these out:

• Ringke Dual Easy Film Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra These are amazing because they dont mess with the fingerprint sensor at all and you get two in a pack for like way less money. I love how thin they are... basically invisible once they are on! You totally got this, dont let the high tech stuff freak you out!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I've spent way too much time testing these things over the years. I actually ruined a phone once with a cheap UV kit because the glue leaked into the side buttons... total disaster. You definitely want something with a foolproof installation tray if you're nervous about the process. Check these out instead:

• amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy S26 Ultra
• This kit is way easier than UV. You just drop the tray on and pull the tab. Usually around 35 bucks for a 2-pack.
• Samsung Official Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector for Galaxy S26 Ultra
• This one is a high-quality film. It wont stop a major crack, but it preserves the anti-glare tech way better than glass. I usually go with amFilm because the fingerprint sensor actually works without pressing like a maniac. Just be super careful with dust tho... one tiny hair and you're gonna see it forever.
