What are the absolute must-have accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 because I'm trying to budget this out before I blow all my money on the phone itself?
I've been looking around and I saw some leaks saying the new S Pen might be even thinner this year but then I read a thread where people said the pen silo cases are still super uncomfortable to hold for long periods. I'm gonna be using this thing for hours at a time for work spreadsheets and reading my manga collection so comfort is kind of a big deal for me. I also saw some stuff about those MagSafe adapter rings but I'm worried they might mess with the internal magnets or the screen digitizer since these foldables are so fragile.
I have about 150 or 200 quid set aside for extras but I dont want to waste it on stuff that'll just sit in a drawer. Should I stick with the official Samsung standing cover or are the third party ones like Spigen or Dbrand actually better this time around? I'm mostly worried about hinge protection because I dropped my Fold 4 once and it was a nightmare to get fixed so maybe a bulky case is necessary even if it looks bad...

Be really careful with those magnetic rings... I put a generic one on my Fold 5 once and it messed with the S Pen digitizer so badly i couldnt draw in the center. For the Fold 7, I'd suggest:
- Spigen Tough Armor Pro P Case for hinge safety.
- Samsung 45W Power Adapter T4510 for charging. Stick to reputable brands or youll risk that fragile screen.

@Reply #2 - good point! Those magnets can be super finicky with the screen digitizer. Quick question tho, are you carrying that S Pen everywhere or just using it at your desk? If it's for long work sessions, I'm really satisfied with the Samsung S Pen Creator Edition White. It feels like a real pen so my hand doesnt cramp. Also, a Baseus Adaman 65W Power Bank 20000mAh is great for reading manga on the couch.

I totally agree about the hinge protection, especially since you've already had a nightmare drop. It's basically non-negotiable for peace of mind. For those long spreadsheet sessions, focus on ergonomics because a bulky case can really cramp your hand after an hour. i wouldnt worry too much about MagSafe rings messing with the screen tho, thats usually just people being paranoid.
