Ive used PPS bricks for years but my S26 Ultra is being weird with my old 45W Anker. It stays at slow speeds even with the 5A cable.

Im leaving for a trip to London on Friday and need a guaranteed Super Fast Charging 2.0 recommendation that actually hits the max wattage.

Unfortunately, third-party blocks often overheat and failed me before. Safety matters most for the S26.

I've spent a small fortune on chargers over the years. Learned the hard way that not all 45W bricks are equal when Samsung's picky PPS protocol is involved. For my Ultra, I swear by the Spigen ArcStation Pro 45W GaN for travel because it's tiny and reliable. Quick tips:

  • Only use 5A rated cables for SFC 2.0.
  • Verify the brick supports 11V/4.05A PPS specifically.

Like someone mentioned, the official adapter is a safe bet, but I respectfully disagree that third-party bricks are always a headache. I've been super satisfied using high-end GaN tech lately and it works perfectly with the S26 Ultra. The tech specs are the key part here... you need a charger that specifically supports the PPS 2.0 profile, specifically 4.05A at 11V, to actually trigger SFC 2.0 speeds. I've had great luck with these:

  • Anker 313 Charger 45W Ace
  • Basically made for Samsung, hits max speeds every time.
  • Ugreen Nexode 65W GaN 3-Port Wall Charger
  • Awesome for travel because you get the extra ports for your laptop or buds. Honestly, the Anker Ace is my go-to and I have no complaints. It stays way cooler than older bricks and is much smaller. Since you're headed to London, just grab a solid UK adapter and you're set. safe travels!
