Can someone actually tell me which wireless charger is gonna give me the max speeds for the S26 Plus because I am honestly so lost right now. I spent like two hours looking this up and Samsungs own site is just being super vague about the specs for the S26 specifically.

I saw a thread on Reddit saying any Qi2 puck works but then some guy on a different forum said you need the official Samsung Super Fast Wireless Charger Duo or it throttles to like 5w which sounds like a total scam. I just spent way too much money on this phone at a store in Chicago and I need my desk setup finished by Friday before I head out on a trip. Do I really have to buy their overpriced $60 pad or is there a cheaper Spigen or Anker one that actually hits the 15w limit?

I snagged a Yootech 15W Max Fast Wireless Charging Pad a while back and honestly, no complaints. Its a total bargain that hits full speeds without the annoying Samsung tax.

  • Just saw this and honestly, be careful with those Qi2 claims. Samsung is super picky about their 15W handshake. I would suggest the Spigen ArcField 15W Wireless Charger PF2104G instead. It is way cheaper than the official Duo and actually hits those max speeds. Just make sure to use a solid Anker 25W USB-C Wall Charger with it or the pad wont have enough juice to output the full 15W.

Hey, I feel your pain. Samsung really makes it a headache to find the actual specs sometimes. I was pretty satisfied with how my desk setup turned out though, and you definitely dont need to drop sixty bucks on their official duo pad if you only need to charge the phone. I did some testing when I got my S26 Plus and found a few things that actually hit the fast charging speeds without the Samsung tax. Here is what I am currently using and what works well for me:

  • Spigen ArcField 15W Wireless Charger for Samsung
  • This one is specifically designed for Galaxy devices so it avoids that 5w throttling issue you mentioned. Its super reliable.
  • Anker 315 Wireless Charger Pad 15W Max
  • I got this for like half the price of the official one and it works perfectly for desk charging while I work.
  • Samsung 15W Wireless Charger Single Pad with Travel Adapter
  • If you really want the official brand, look for the single pad version since it is usually way cheaper than the Duo. The real secret is making sure you have a wall brick that supports PPS or at least PD 3.0. If you use an old iPhone brick or something, the pad wont get enough juice and youll be stuck at those snail speeds. Im very happy with the Spigen pad personally, it feels solid and hits the max 15w speed every time I plop the phone down. You should be able to get one delivered by Friday easily so you can enjoy your trip.
