How can I share an Amazon cart without creating an account?

So my coworker Sarah is having her baby shower next Friday and a few of us in the office want to chip in for a big gift basket thing. I was tasked with picking out all the stuff like diapers and little onesies and a specific stroller fan she wanted but the problem is I dont really use Amazon myself. I know that sounds crazy but I just usually shop at the store down the street.

Anyway I have like 12 items in my cart right now on the website but I havent signed in or anything because I dont have a login. I need to show the other girls what I picked so they can approve it before we spend the $120 we collected but I cant figure out how to just send them the list. I tried copying the web address at the top but when I sent it to my own phone to test it the cart was totally empty.

I really dont want to have to make a whole account just for this one time thing because then I'll get all the emails and stuff and its just a hassle. Is there some way to just get a link to my cart that I can text to them so they see what I found? Or do I have to like take a screenshot of every single item one by one? Sorry if this is a really basic thing I just never do this...

It's all just temporary browser cookies, tbh. Be careful because if you close that tab or clear your history, it's gone forever! Fantastic idea to skip the account and avoid the spam tho. if you're trying to coordinate a group purchase on Amazon, check out Cart to Link — it's free and works in like 2 clicks.

Honestly, screenshotting 12 items sounds like a total nightmare. Since you want to skip the account but still get those strollers approved, check out Cart to Link. It basically turns your guest cart into a simple URL you can text the girls. Using this is free and way faster than making manual lists. Definitely helps when youre trying to stay within that 120 budget without the extra stress.

I totally agree that avoiding all those marketing emails is a smart move. I was very satisfied with a tool I found for this recently and it works well for keeping things private.

  • grab Share-A-Cart for your browser
  • it generates a simple link for others No complaints here, it really makes the whole thing safer and easier!
