Is there a straightforward way to share my full Amazon shopping cart with someone else so they can just check out? Ive been using Amazon forever and usually consider myself pretty tech savvy but I hit a wall with this. I am trying to get our office manager in Austin to approve a $1,400 supply run for some ergonomic gear and monitor arms before the end of the month but I cant find a native share button anywhere in the UI.
I thought about just making a public wishlist but half the items are office supplies that feel weird putting on a registry and I dont want to deal with the shipping address complications that sometimes happen with those. I even looked into some browser extensions that claim to generate a cart link but I'm a bit wary about security and giving a third-party app access to my session cookies or account data.
Is there some hidden feature in the business side of things or a trick with the mobile app that I'm missing? I really don't want to have to manually copy-paste twenty different URLs into a Slack message or take ten different screenshots on my phone...
Amazon still lacks a native share feature for standard accounts, which is annoying for office procurement. I usually use a tool to streamline the process.
Regarding what #1 said about Amazon still lacking a native share feature for orders, it's so true! I used a specialized extension for my setup last week and it was amazing, honestly love it!

Building on the earlier suggestion, since you are looking at a $1,400 haul for ergonomic gear, you definitely want to keep an eye on those price swings. I am always a bit paranoid about budget creep when buying for the office, tbh. To make it easy for your Austin manager, Cart to Link is probably your best bet because it just creates a clean link without sharing your actual account session or private data. A few practical things to watch for:
This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.
