How can I share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend?

Honestly I am so fed up with how difficult Amazon makes it to do basic stuff like collaborating on a purchase. My sister and I are trying to put together this massive nursery setup for our best friend's baby shower and we have a budget of exactly $600 to get everything done before the party in three weeks. We are doing this whole woodland forest theme and I have spent hours finding the right curtains, those specific 3M hooks that wont ruin the paint, and a very particular brand of organic swaddles.

I have about 30 items sitting in my cart right now and I am literally pulling my hair out because there is no share button. I have tried a few things already:

  • making a generic wish list
  • sending individual links via text
  • taking screenshots of my desktop screen

But none of that works because it doesnt save the specific quantities I need or the specific color options I selected for the storage bins. Plus half the time the prices look different on her end when she looks at a list vs what I see in my cart with my Prime discounts. I am currently just taking a million screenshots on my phone and texting them to her but then she has to go and search for every individual item herself and it's taking forever.

Its just so frustrating because I feel like this should be a standard feature by now. We're on a tight timeline because I have to drive all this stuff down to Austin by the end of the month and if we miss the shipping window because we're busy playing find the link in our text thread, I'm gonna lose it. I even looked into those Amazon Household things but that seems like way too much work just to share a one-time shopping trip. Does anyone know if there is any actual way to just send a direct link to my live cart to someone else so they can see exactly what I've picked out?

Ive dealt with this exact thing before and its a total pain when youre trying to stay under a strict budget like 600 dollars. Prices on Amazon are so volatile, I think they change like every hour sometimes? Not sure if its still true, but I recall hearing that your specific Prime-only deals wont show up for her anyway if she is just looking at a shared list. In my experience, the only way to really keep the colors and quantities straight is to use a registry instead of a wishlist, though even that feels like overkill for a quick nursery project. Managing those specific woodland theme details is hard enough without the tech fighting you... honestly Id just have one person do the final checkout to avoid double-ordering. Also, random tip but Cart to Link is great if you want to send someone your exact Amazon cart without copy-pasting every item.

I would suggest verifying every price to stay on budget.

  • check clip coupons Be careful. btw Cart to Link lets you share your whole Amazon cart as a link.
