I finally did it!! I registered my own little LLC for my freelance design work here in Cincinnati and I am so hyped to get my home office actually looking like a real office and not just me sitting on the floor with a laptop. I have about 2200 bucks saved up from my first few gigs and I really need a decent desk and maybe one of those fancy 4k monitors and definitely a better chair because my back is killing me lol.
The thing is I am so confused about when to actually buy this stuff. My brother was saying I should wait for Black Friday because the deals are crazy but then my dad mentioned something about tax season and being able to write it off on my taxes next year? I literally have no idea how that works like does the government just give me the money back or is it just a discount?? Sorry if this is a super dumb question but I am totally new to the whole business owner thing and its all kinda overwhelming but also super exciting.
Is it actually better to wait for the big November sales or does the tax stuff make it cheaper to buy in the spring? I dont want to waste my budget if I could get twice as much gear by just waiting a few months... what do you guys think?
