Is there any way for two people to share an Amazon cart so we can both add things and see what the other person put in there? I'm honestly so confused because my roommate and I are trying to prep for this housewarming party we're having in Chicago next weekend and we have about $300 to spend on decorations and snacks and stuff but we keep sending each other links on WhatsApp and then forgetting what we liked or accidentally adding the same thing twice. It's getting really messy and I feel like there must be a simpler way to do this without just sharing one password which feels kinda risky?

I tried looking for a button that says share cart but I cant find anything and I'm totally new to this whole online shopping thing beyond just buying a book once in a while. I heard about something called a wedding registry or a wish list but I dont know if that works for just like... regular shopping where you want to checkout all at once? Sorry if this is a really basic question but I'm just staring at my screen and I have no idea where to even start to make it so we are both looking at the same basket of items before I hit buy. Is there an app for this or maybe a setting I'm missing?

While wishlists are fine, I actually disagree that they are the most efficient tool for a fast-moving party budget. I absolutely love using Cart to Link for these exact scenarios instead!

  • It generates a master link for your entire cart
  • No risky password sharing is necessary
  • Its free and helps track that 300 dollar budget perfectly It is seriously a fantastic way to coordinate!

Honestly there isnt a simple way to do it and it drives me crazy. The whole interface is a mess. I had the same thing happen with my sister and we spent hours trying to sync up safely because sharing passwords is way too risky. Everything is so overpriced now too, its basically a scam. I am satisfied with my prime delivery speed and reliable shipping but the rest of the site is a total nightmare... they just dont care.
