I just landed my first few big sales on my Walmart store after doing okay on Amazon for a while and honestly Im so hyped!! But keeping track of everything is becoming a total nightmare because I have to log into two different seller centers every hour. I looked into Helium 10 since everyone talks about it but then I saw some reddit threads saying their Walmart data is kinda glitchy compared to their Amazon stats. Then there is Jungle Scout but that looks like its only for Amazon? Im trying to keep my monthly software spend under 150 bucks since its just me and my husband running this out of our garage in Ohio. What are you guys using to see both platforms in one spot without breaking the bank?

Just caught this thread and honestly... it sucks. Unfortunately, finding a budget tool that actually handles Walmart well is a total headache. Ive tried Helium 10 and their Walmart integration was such a letdown. It missed a chunk of my orders and messed up my tax calculations because the API sync is so unstable. The reality is that most devs treat Walmart like a side project. 1. Walmart API is notorious for timing out or sending duplicate records during peak hours.

  • Most tools charge a heavy premium for multi-channel, so staying under $150 is tough if you want accuracy.
  • I had issues with this platform before but they are at least trying to bridge the gap for smaller sellers. Ngl, I still keep a manual spreadsheet once a week because I dont trust these dashboards 100%. Its not as good as expected and honestly pretty frustrating when you just want to see your profit without clicking fifty different buttons. Be careful with what you sync... errors compound fast.

Late to the party but are you needing live inventory sync or just profit tracking? In my experience, Walmarts API lag makes most cheap dashboards show ghost sales that havent actually cleared yet...

I've been in the e-commerce game for quite a while now, and honestly, managing two platforms is exactly where the wheels usually fall off for most sellers. You really need to be careful with how you track your margins because Amazon fees and Walmart referral fees are totally different beasts.

  • SellerBoard: In my experience, this is the most reliable budget-friendly option for your situation. It handles both platforms well for around $20 a month. It focuses heavily on profit, which is what actually matters when you're working out of your garage.
  • Helium 10: Your instincts about the glitches are mostly right. Their Walmart integration is getting better, but I'd still be hesitant to rely on it for 100% accuracy right now. If the data is off by even a few percent, it can mess up your entire tax prep.
  • InventoryLab: Great for Amazon, but it wont help you with Walmart. Don't waste your money there if you need cross-platform visibility. I would suggest doing a manual reconciliation once a month just to make sure the software is pulling the right numbers. You might also want to check out a free price tracker to stay on top of the competition without spending extra cash. Make sure you dont give admin access to every third-party app you try; keep permissions limited to what they actually need to see. If you stay methodical about your data entry, youll be fine tho.
