I just upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro and noticed my old mount struggles with the larger camera bump. I'm looking for a solid MagSafe-compatible option that can handle the weight on bumpy roads. Do you prefer vent clips or dashboard mounts for this model? Any specific brands you’d recommend for a secure fit?

This^ Also wanted to add that the camera bump on the 14 Pro is actually huge lol, so you gotta ensure the mount's ring has enough clearance or it wont sit flush!! Totally agree that MagSafe is the only way to go. If you're looking for budget-friendly but solid specs, I'd compare these two options: 1. ESR Halolock Magnetic Car Phone Mount (Vent) - Usually $20-$25. Love the 'hook' design cuz it locks onto the vent slat so it doesnt sag.
2. LISEN MagSafe Car Mount for Dashboard (Dash) - About $18-$22. The technical diff is that the LISEN uses 20 N52 magnets, which basically gives it a crazy strong pull force for bumpy roads. Tbh, the vent mount is cool for airflow, but dash mounts are highkey more stable for the weight of the Pro model. I'd go with the LISEN for stability honestly, plus it's a steal for that price!! gl!

Curious about one thing: what's the texture of your dash like?? Honestly, safety is a HUGE concern with that heavy 14 Pro, and if ur dash is textured, some mounts basically wont stick. I've been super satisfied with the UGREEN Magnetic Car Phone Mount ($14.99)—it clears the bump and is lowkey great value. TL;DR: Need to know your dash/vent layout so it doesnt fly off on bumps!

Check out these budget resources on Amazon:

- Syncwire MagSafe Car Phone Holder
Basically both clear the bump and stay solid. Best value imo!! lol

I've had quite a few issues with the mounts available lately. They're unfortunately not as good as expected. Most designs just dont account for the weight of the 14 Pro, which is a serious safety concern honestly. It's disappointing how many of these accessories fail when you're actually out on the road. Go with a dashboard mount. It's better for stability. If you want something you can actually trust, just get any MagSafe holder from Belkin or OtterBox. You basically cant go wrong with those brands because they focus on reliability and build quality. It's better to spend a bit more to make sure your phone stays secure... safety first.
