I'm eager to dive into the world of virtual reality. I'm looking for recommendations on a good VR headset that's compatible with my new phone. I'm interested in both gaming and watching 3D movies, but I don't want to break the bank. Any suggestions for a cheap yet decent quality headset? I've heard mixed reviews about phone-based VR, so I'm curious about your experiences. How's the performance for mobile VR gaming? Are 3D movies enjoyable on these headsets? Most mobile VR headsets for phones were discontinued years ago (like Google Cardboard). Your iPhone 16 Pro Max is way too powerful to waste on simple mobile VR. Get a proper standalone headset like the Quest 3 or Pico 4 instead.
