I'm in the market for a VR headset that is compatible with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I want to use it primarily for immersive experiences, such as gaming and virtual tours, but I'm also interested in any options that support guided meditations or relaxation apps.
I've heard mixed reviews about the Apple Vision Pro, but I'm not sure if it's the best fit for my needs, especially considering its price point and functionality. Are there any other headsets that work well with the iPhone 16 Pro Max?
Additionally, if anyone has experience with using VR headsets for meditation or relaxation, I would love to hear your recommendations.

tbh the whole phone-vr scene is kinda dead except for xr glasses... if you put a heavy phone like the 16 pro max in a plastic shell, its gonna get hot fast and probably wont be comfortable for long meditation sessions. i'm really happy with my XREAL Air 2 AR Glasses tho. since the new iphones have usb-c, it just works without any messy adapters. i use mine for relaxation apps and the screen quality is crisp enough that i dont get those weird vr headaches. if you're worried about reliability, these are basically the gold standard right now. another safe bet is the VITURE Pro XR Glasses which have been super reliable for me when i want to watch stuff in bed without holding a heavy phone. no complaints at all, they just work like they should. way better than those cheap $30 headsets that just end up scratching your screen or giving you eye strain.
