honestly so done with these cheap five dollar protectors from amazon that promise the world and then arrive looking like literal plastic wrap. I just got my iphone 14 pro a few months back and i love the screen so much but ive already gone through three different glass brands because they keep chipping at the edges for no reason at all. its driving me crazy looking at the little bubbles and the way they catch fingerprints is just gross. i really want something that feels like the actual apple glass because right now it feels like im rubbing my thumb on a grease trap.
i am totally fine with spending like $50 or even more if it actually lasts because i am heading to tokyo next month for a huge solo trip and i dont want to be messing with a cracked screen while im trying to navigate. i am just so excited to finally get this sorted so i can actually enjoy the phone without a million scratches or that weird halo effect on the edges. i heard about some brands like dbrand or maybe some crazy sapphire ones but i dont know if they are just marketing hype or actually worth the premium price tag. what is actually the absolute highest quality screen protector for the 14 pro right now regardless of the cost?

Like someone mentioned, sapphire is brittle. I spent months testing aluminosilicate glass in a lab and found edge stress is the real killer. Are you using a bulky case or a slim one? I dont want to suggest a brand that will lift at the edges. Quick tips:
