Looking for headphone recommendations for my iPhone 15 Pro. I listen mostly to music. Budget is around $300. What are your top picks?

Totally agree with the point about the USB-C transition being a game changer for the 15 Pro. It opens up so many options for high-res music without needing a stack of adapters. I've been testing a few things in that $300 range lately and ngl, it's a tough choice. Here’s what I’ve found from my own experience: * Beats Studio Pro: Honestly, these surprised me. Since they’re basically built for the Apple ecosystem, the integration is seamless. The *best* part is they actually support lossless audio through the USB-C port directly, which sounds incredible. Cons: They feel a bit 'plastic-y' and the clamping force is a bit tight at first.
* Sennheiser+Momentum+4+Wireless&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless: These are my go-to for pure sound quality. Pros: The soundstage is amazing and the 60-hour battery is insane—I charge them like once a month. Cons: The app can be a bit buggy, and the auto-pause feature is hit or miss for me, afaik. Anyway, so basically, if you want the 'Apple features' go Beats, but for the best music experience, the Sennheisers are hard to beat imo. Good luck with the search!

Exactly what I was thinking

Been using Soundcore Life Q30s with my iPhone for a year now. Great noise cancelling for the price (around $80!). Sound quality is decent for everyday use, especially with EQ adjustments. Battery life is fantastic. Honestly, for the value, it’s tough to beat. Spend the rest on gas money!

Heads up on impedance matching for optimal audio! Lower impedance headphones (under 32 ohms) are ideal; otherwise, an external DAC/amp might be needed for your 15 Pro. Consider the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO. Fantastic isolation! Verify iPhone volume limits adhere to OSHA hearing safety standards!

Consider Sony WH-CH720N. Good sound, decent noise cancelling, and saves you around $150.

Heads-up: Consider bone conduction headphones like Shokz. Music's great, but situational awareness is KEY while driving. Ditch noise cancellation entirely for road safety. Replacing a phone is cheaper than replacing a car (or worse). Think safety first!

Headphone market's wild! Bose QC series are popular, but consider Sony's WH-1000XM line too. Both have great noise cancelling, but Bose usually wins on comfort. Check user reviews; preferences vary wildly. I’d suggest trying both if possible before committing $300. Be careful with online hype; subjective listening matters most!

Up here in the Arizona desert, I sweat like crazy. Over-ear headphones get NASTY. Consider AirPods Pro. $250, and they handle the heat and dust better than anything else I've tried in my old '67 Mustang convertible. Sound is decent, not audiophile-grade, but practical.

Before dropping $300, consider Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm adapter. Seriously. For music, decent headphones you already own + $9 adapter often beats mediocre Bluetooth. Audio quality matters; DIY cable upgrades can boost sound further for under $50. Been doing this for years. Try it before buying new!

For longevity, check out Sennheiser HD 600. Open-back design lasts decades; 1997 model still rocks. Be careful with amp pairing; iPhone's DAC might need help.
