Which MagSafe chargers and power banks are actually worth the money for the iPhone 15? I’m upgrading from an iPhone 12 mini and honestly, I'm just fed up with the constant "Low Battery" anxiety—that phone was a disaster for anyone who actually uses their camera. I’ve been researching the Anker MagGo series and the Belkin stands, but people keep mentioning heat issues with the new USB-C port transition. Does the 15 need a specific wattage to hit that 15W MagSafe speed? I want something that won't cook my battery (longevity is key here) but also isn't a massive brick in my pocket. I'm trying to stay under $100 for the whole setup. What are you guys using that actually stays cool?

The iPhone 15 requires a power adapter with at least 20W output to reach 15W MagSafe speeds. Using a lower wattage brick will result in slower charging and can generate more heat as the system struggles to maintain power. I suggest the Anker MagGo Power Bank 10K because it utilizes the Qi2 standard. This standard ensures better magnetic alignment, which reduces energy loss and heat. Just make sure you double-check the wattage of your wall plugs. I recommend the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter for consistent safety. Heat is the primary factor in battery degradation. If the phone feels hot, you should stop charging it. For a desk setup, the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is a prudent choice. It features built-in thermal management to protect battery longevity. If you are ever unsure about a specific brand, stick to MFi-certified products.
