I just upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro and need a reliable MagSafe charger. I’m concerned about the large camera bump interfering with some pads and really want to ensure I get that full 15W fast charging. Does anyone have experience with Belkin or Anker options? Which specific model fits the best and stays cool?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option: 1. Apple MagSafe Charger ($39) it works reallyyy well and is pretty much the safest 15W option. IDK if you've checked it yet?

Similar situation here - i was highkey stressing about that camera bump on my 15 Pro when i first got it. Honestly, i'm super cautious about heat and alignment cuz these phones can get pretty toasty if things aren't perfectly centered. I went through a whole phase of researching Qi2 vs MagSafe cuz I REALLY didn't wanna drop $45 on a basic Apple puck just to have it wobbling on the lenses. I eventually settled on the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger Pad Qi2 Certified 15W A25M0 and i'm so happy with it. Got it for like $22 on sale, which is a total steal ngl. It's slim enough that it doesn't even touch the camera mountain, so you get a perfectly flat connection every time. Plus, it stays surprisingly cool for a fast charger. TL;DR: I grabbed the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger Pad Qi2 Certified 15W A25M0 for ~$22. It clears the bump perfectly and hits that full 15W without the "apple tax."

I’m concerned about the large camera bump interfering with some pads and really want to ensure I get that full 15W fast charging. In my experience, youre 100% right to be cautious about that camera bump... it is literally massive lol. If the charging pad is too wide or doesn't have a raised surface, the bump will tilt the phone just enough to break the magnetic seal. This causes high resistance, which basically means it gets *hot* and drops below that 15W peak almost immediately due to thermal throttling. For your situation, I would suggest the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand with MagSafe. Since it uses a raised mount on an arm, the camera housing hangs off the edge and doesn't interfere with the magnets at all. It’s MFM certified, so you’re guaranteed the full 15W without any handshake issues. If you prefer a flat pad, honestly, look at the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Pad) with Qi2. It uses the new Qi2 standard which is basically MagSafe for everyone now, so you get the 15W speeds. The puck is small enough that it sits *perfectly* inside the camera bump radius on the 15 Pro. Just make sure you're using a solid power brick like the Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3) to keep the voltage stable. Tbh, heat is the real enemy here, so if you notice it getting warm, the phone's internal safety will throttle the speed anyway... but these two specific models stay pretty cool compared to the cheap knockoffs. Hope that helps! 👍

yo, congrats on the 15 Pro! honestly that camera bump is basically a mountain lol. for your situation, i'd definitely look at Qi2 certified stuff cuz it hits that 15W peak without the 'apple tax'. ive been using the Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station (Foldable 3-in-1) and its been great. since the charging puck is on a hinge, the camera bump clears the stand easily so no interference issues at all. plus it stays surprisingly cool even when hitting max speeds. another technical win is the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand with MagSafe. it's officially MFM certified and the ring is raised enough that the lens housing wont touch the base. definitely worth the extra cash for the peace of mind... lmk if you have more questions about the thermals!! peace

Can confirm

Like someone mentioned, the thermal management is really the secret sauce for getting that sustained 15W peak. In my experience, if the dissipation isnt there, the charging curve drops off almost immediately to protect the battery. I've tried many setups over the years and most people dont realize how much that tiny gap from the camera bump can actually mess with the induction efficiency.

  • Just get any MagSafe certified stand from Belkin, you really cant go wrong there since they work so closely with Apple on the internal specs.
  • Focus on the floating style mounts specifically. They solve the camera bump clearance issue completely and keep the back of the phone exposed to the air which helps performance.
  • Make sure you pair the mount with a high-quality GaN wall plug from a brand like Satechi or Mophie to ensure the power overhead is there. Honestly, if you stick with those premium brands, you're getting much better internal shielding and magnetic alignment which is huge for keeping the temps down.

Ok so I’ve been tinkering with my 15 Pro setup for a while now and honestly I think those "pro" charging stands are kind of a trap for your wallet. I’m a total DIY enthusiast and I realized pretty fast that instead of paying for a "professional" $150 3-in-1 station that might be obsolete next year I could just build a much better self-service setup that actually handles the heat and that *insane* camera bump way better than the pre-made stuff. * Spacing is key: I used a Spigen MagFit mount which is basically just a bracket but I bolted it to my desk monitor arm so the phone actually *floats* and the camera bump doesn't touch anything at all which is huge for keeping it cool.
* Power supply overhead: I paired a basic puck with an Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) because having that extra wattage overhead means the brick itself doesn't get stressed or hot even when you're pushing that 15W peak.
* Custom clearance: If you have a stand that's tight on space you can actually just add a small 3D-printed spacer or even some thick mounting tape behind the charging puck to push it out further from the frame so the lenses clear the edge. Going the DIY route is so much more practical because you can just swap out individual parts if a cable breaks and it’s just satisfying to have a setup that actually *fits* your specific case and phone without paying the crazy markups for integrated stands lol.
