Hey all, looking for charger recommendations for the upcoming iPhone 17. I'm hoping to find something that can fast charge it reliably. Any suggestions based on your experiences with fast charging other iPhones? Budget is around $50.

Got this one: Anker USB C Charger(Nano II 65W). Works well for my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Skip the hype, honestly. I've been super happy with Anker's 30W USB-C charger for years. Works well for my iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPad, everything. Fast charges reliably. Got mine for $25, and it's still going strong. No complaints.

The iPhone 17 can fast charge to 50% in 20 minutes with a 40W adapter or higher. I picked up Apple's new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max for $39.

Can vouch for this

Anker Nano 3. Lasted 3 years, still charges my 13 Pro. Decent option, depends on your needs.

For iPhone 17 fast charging, be careful with wattage! Anker Nano II 30W might be safer long term.

Honestly im in the same boat right now. Trying to find a solid pick for the 17 is making me nervous too because the tech keeps shifting. I've been researching for an hour and it feels like a minefield with all the compatibility issues between different protocols. Definitely be careful with these things:

  • cheap cables that claim high wattage but lack the e-marker chip
  • chargers that dont specifically mention PPS support for better heat management
  • those no-name multi-port hubs that split power weirdly when you plug in a second device Really dont want to risk a brand new battery on something sketchy just to save ten bucks. It is frustrating that we even have to worry about this tho... lmk if you find anything that seems actually reliable.

Hold up on the iPhone 17 charger hunt! Unfortunately, many 'fast chargers' aren't all that. I had issues with generic ones overheating. Instead of chasing the newest tech, a solid Anker PowerPort III Nano (around $20) with a USB-C to Lightning cable is usually plenty fast and safer. Don't waste money chasing unproven tech!

Beware cheap chargers! Anker's surge protection is worth the extra cost for long-term battery health.

Anker's been solid for years. Market data shows consistent reliability; no complaints after 3 iPhones.
