Hey! Just got the iPhone 17 Air (lucky me, right?). Seriously though, which screen protector offers the BEST protection? I'm not too worried about price, just want something that'll really keep the screen safe. What brand do you all recommend?

Congrats on the 17 Air! I've had good luck with Spigen Glas. It's saved my bacon more than once. Be careful with those 'edge-to-edge' types; they sometimes interfere with cases. I'd suggest checking Amazon reviews *carefully* before you pull the trigger. Saved me some headaches.

Forget glass. For iPhone 17 Air's brittle screen, try a self-healing polyurethane film. Offers superior impact absorption. Spigen's Armor series works well; I've used similar on displays since '22. No complaints.

Skip the fancy ones. $20 tempered glass from Amazon works great, replace it yearly.

Zagg's privacy glass offers decent shatter protection, but honestly, insurance might be safer. Think airbag, not just looks.

Honestly? DIY installs are tricky. I had issues with bubbles. Maybe check out Zagg? They install it for you. Worth the extra $30, IMO, if you want it perfect!

Skip Zagg. Unfortunately, market research shows their impact resistance isn't as good as expected. Try OtterBox Amplify. Pricier, but reports indicate much better scratch/impact performance.

Consider a protector with anti-glare. Reflections can impair driving visibility. Spigen's Armor series might help; make sure it's properly installed for optimal performance. Be careful with bubbles.

Zagg's held up great for me over the years. Worth the premium, in my experience.

Living in Arizona, UV exposure is brutal. Consider a Whitestone Dome Glass protector. Its LOCA adhesive (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive) is crucial to prevent screen delamination in extreme heat. Be careful during installation; follow their UV curing process EXACTLY. I'd suggest watching a few YouTube guides first, especially regarding dust removal. Good luck!
