Just got the iPhone 17 Pro Max. My DJI OSMO Mobile 7P works well on it.

Just grabbed the Smallrig Mini Tripod last month specifically for my 17 Pro Max and I'm really happy with it. It's compact, has a ball head that moves smoothly, and the legs can spread out at different angles which is super handy. Great for desk setups if you're doing video calls or content creation. Runs about $40-50 depending on where you buy it.

I've been using the Joby GorillaPod 3K Kit with my 16 Pro Max and it's been fantastic. The flexible legs are perfect for wrapping around things when you're out hiking or traveling, and it's sturdy enough to handle the weight no problem.

Tbh it looks like u have some good options already for small setups and gimbals. Basically, everyone is suggesting flexible pods for travel or the DJI for smooth movement. After using my 17 Pro Max for a few months now, here are my quick tips for the long run: * Try the Ulanzi MT-44 Extendable Tripod. The mini ones are okay for desks, but I really like this one because it gets taller for better video angles.
* Watch the weight. These phones are heavy! Make sure the ball head doesn't slip (at least thats what happened with my first cheap one).
* Look into MagSafe mounts. It’s basically a lifesaver for quick swaps when ur filming.
