Hey everyone,

So, I know it's a *long* way off, but I'm already starting to think about Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for 2025. Specifically, I'm really hoping to snag the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (assuming that's what they call it!) when it comes out. I'm planning a phone upgrade around then, and Google's always been my go-to.

I've been burned in the past trying to get good deals on new phones during those sales. Last time, with the Pixel 8 Pro, I waited too long and everything was either sold out or the deals were really only on the lower storage models that I *didn't* want. Plus, some of the deals I saw online turned out to be through carriers, and I really prefer to buy unlocked.

This time, I want to be prepared! I'm thinking the Pixel 10 Pro XL will probably be announced around October 2025, giving us a little time to see reviews and decide if it's the phone to get. I'm particularly interested in whether they'll upgrade the telephoto lens significantly – that's one area where I feel like Google could improve. Also, battery life is always a concern, especially with bigger screens like the 'XL' models tend to have.

So, my question is: based on past Pixel launches and Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales trends, what are your best tips for maximizing my chances of getting a good deal on the Pixel 10 Pro XL (or whatever the top-tier Pixel is called then!) during the 2025 sales? Specifically, are there certain retailers I should be watching, or are there pre-order bonuses that usually beat the Black Friday discounts? Any advice from seasoned Black Friday Pixel shoppers would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! I totally get wanting to plan ahead. Honestly, pre-order bonuses directly from Google *might* be better than waiting for Black Friday. In the past, I've seen some really good trade-in deals and store credit offers when pre-ordering, which sometimes beat the limited Black Friday stock. I pre-ordered my Pixel 6 Pro that way and it was a smoother experience than my trying to snag a Pixel 8 on Black Friday (had issues with that). Check Google Store first!

Hey there! I totally get wanting to snag a deal on the next Pixel, especially the top-end one! I've been burned before too, thinking I was getting a steal only to find out it was some weird carrier-locked version. Ugh! So, while pre-orders and smaller retailers are good ideas (like the other replies mentioned!), I think it's also super important to consider *how* you're going to pay.

See, a lot of times, the *real* savings isn't just about the sticker price on Black Friday. It's about maximizing things like cash back and financing offers. For example, if you have a credit card that offers, say, 5% cash back on electronics purchases, that's automatically a discount you're getting ON TOP of whatever sale price you find. Also, some stores (like Best Buy, I think) sometimes offer 0% financing for a certain period if you use their store card. If you're disciplined and pay it off within that time, that's basically free money!

I'd recommend starting to research which cards offer the best rewards on electronics NOW, so you're ready when November 2025 rolls around. Also, keep an eye out for limited-time promotions. Sometimes banks offer sign-up bonuses that can be HUGE – like, spend $X in the first three months and get $Y back. If you time it right, you could basically use that bonus to cover a big chunk of the phone's cost. Just remember to pay your balance off every month so you don't get hit with interest! That's seriously important.

Another thing to consider is trading in your current phone. Google usually offers pretty decent trade-in values, but shop around! Sometimes other retailers or even those phone recycling programs will give you more. Every little bit helps, right? I also recommend checking Amazon! They are good with prices around that time. Good luck, and happy deal hunting!

Hey! While pre-orders are often tempting, don't forget to check out deals from smaller electronics retailers too. Sometimes they offer surprisingly good discounts to attract customers, especially if they're trying to clear out stock before the end of the year. Also, keep an eye on trade-in deals – trading in an older phone can sometimes beat both pre-order and Black Friday discounts *combined*, especially if you're willing to part with a slightly older but still functional device. I got my Pixel 6 Pro that way!

Hey! I totally get the excitement! But honestly, before chasing deals, double-check *where* you're buying from, especially on Black Friday. I've seen some sketchy third-party sellers pop up offering "amazing" prices, but the phones are either fake, refurbished without disclosure, or straight-up stolen! Stick to reputable retailers like Google directly, Best Buy, or Amazon (but verify the seller!). Better to pay a little more for peace of mind, IMO. I've been burned by that before and it's not worth the headache!

Hey there!

I get wanting to be super prepared for the Pixel 10 Pro XL deals! Everyone's talking about pre-orders and specific retailers, but honestly, I think stepping back and looking at the *bigger* picture might help too. A lot can change in the phone market in a year and a half. It's worth considering what Samsung, Apple, and even some of the Chinese brands like OnePlus and Xiaomi are doing *now*.

Why? Because their innovation and pricing strategies *directly* impact Google's decisions. If Samsung has a killer camera upgrade, Google will likely respond, and that could affect the price or features that they discount on Black Friday. Also, keep an eye on overall economic trends; if there's a recession or something, we might see deeper discounts across the board, or maybe fewer deals if there's high demand.

Basically, track the *entire* market landscape leading up to the Pixel 10 Pro XL's launch. That'll give you way more context for judging whether a Black Friday deal is *actually* good or just marketing hype. Good luck!
