Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade to a new Google Pixel phone this Black Friday and wondering what kind of deals we might see. Has anyone spotted early promotions or have insider info on discounts for the Pixel 10 series? I'm particularly interested in the Pixel 10 Pro XL, but open to other models if the savings are significant. I feel like this comes up every single year — actually it definitely does — but before I dive into the deep end of the deal hunt, I gotta ask: are you coming over from an iPhone or maybe a Galaxy, or are you already in the Pixel ecosystem? Because honestly, that changes the math on whether these 'deals' are actually worth it. I think I heard somewhere — might have been a leak on some obscure blog, I can't remember — that the trade-in values for the Pixel 10 series might actually be lower if you're swapping an older Google device compared to what Samsung gives you for a base S24 or whatever. I’m not 100% sure on that though, things change so fast. IIRC, Google usually gets aggressive with the Pro models right around the actual holiday, but if you're looking for the absolute rock-bottom price, you might find the other brands actually subsidize the switch more. Or maybe not — it really depends on what you're holding in your hand right now, you know?

In my experience, the discount on the phone is only part of the equation. Over the years, I've found that the real savings come from looking at the total bundle or trade-in value rather than just the MSRP drop. Best Buy usually has the best trade-in promos for older Pixels, which can basically make the upgrade feel like a steal.
- Look for bundles that include the Google Pixel Watch 3 45mm because retailers often throw those in for significantly less when paired.
- Don't skimp on protection for a phone that expensive. I've used the Spigen Tough Armor for Pixel 10 Pro XL on my last three devices and its never failed me.
- Remember to grab a high-speed brick like the Anker 511 Charger Nano 3 30W since Google doesnt include one anymore. Honestly, its worth waiting until the Monday before Black Friday to see if Amazon does a flash sale. I've seen them undercut the official store by an extra fifty bucks just to grab the traffic... just be sure you're buying from the official storefront to avoid any warranty issues later.
