Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have no idea where to start here... I'm upgrading from my super old Galaxy S8 (battery dies in like 2 hours now lol) and I'm totally lost on all these new charging speeds and brick types.
I just need something reliable for the S26 since I use the camera constantly for my kids and need it topped up fast. Budget is around $40-$50 max.
What are actually the best charging accessories to get right now? (Specifically looking for wall bricks that wont overheat.)

Regarding what #1 said about keeping costs down, I completely agree. Coming from an S8, the speed will shock you. I have three kids constantly draining devices, so I bought the Samsung 45W Power Adapter EP-T4510 for $35. Considering cost per year, buying OEM pays off because it avoids battery degradation. Dealer wanted $40 for a knockoff at the mall kiosk, but doing my homework saved me a ton.

Rarely post but saw this and had to chime in cuz coming from an S8 is gonna blow your mind lol. Grab the Anker 313 Charger 45W for around twenty bucks, it pushes the max fast charging speed for the new Samsungs without turning into a little space heater. Pair it with a decent 100W USB-C cable and you wont wait around all day for it to juice up.
