Seriously which tool actually works for Kohls clearance because I am losing my mind trying to catch these markdowns before they sell out. Im stuck between using BrickSeek or just relying on the Honey browser extension but BrickSeek has been totally wrong about inventory at my Columbus store lately and Honey is slow to update when things hit 80 percent off. I only have about 200 bucks to get my kids clothes for next winter so I cant afford to miss the big drops or waste gas driving there for nothing. Is there a better site or maybe a specific Discord server that tracks this stuff better than those two? its getting so frustrating seeing empty racks every time...

This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.

Honestly, I’ve been doing this for a decade and it’s getting harder every year. It’s super frustrating because the tools we used to rely on just don’t cut it anymore. I’ve had massive issues with BrickSeek lately too, so you aren't alone there. It's definitely not as good as it used to be. Here is why the stuff you're using isn't working and what actually does:

  • BrickSeek is basically dead for Kohl's. They stopped getting accurate inventory feeds from most big-box stores years ago. If it says 3 in stock, there are probably zero. Don't waste your gas relying on their inventory numbers.
  • Honey is great for finding coupon codes, but their price tracking is way too slow for 80 percent off drops. By the time you get an alert, the resellers have already cleared the racks.
  • The best way is actually using the Kohl's app while you're physically there to scan items that aren't marked correctly, but for tracking from home, you need to follow specific deal hunters on Telegram or Discord. Sites like Slickdeals are way faster than any automated tool because real people post photos of the tags. Unfortunately, you gotta learn the markdown schedule because the tech is failing us. Most Kohl's locations do their big clearance pushes on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. If you aren't there when the doors open, you're looking at empty racks. It's not as easy as it used to be and it's pretty disappointing how much work it takes now just to find decent prices for kids clothes... basically it's a manual game now.

> BrickSeek has been totally wrong about inventory at my Columbus store lately Yeah, it is honestly depressing how much those tools have fallen off lately. I spent a whole Saturday last month chasing 80 percent off tags for my nieces winter gear after seeing a green light on BrickSeek, only to find out my local store hadnt updated their internal system in three days. The biggest issue now is what we call ghost inventory. The system thinks there is one single item hidden behind a shelf somewhere, so the site says In Stock but the rack is completely bare. Honey is basically useless for deep clearance because by the time their crawler finally hits the page, the vultures have already cleared everything out. If you are trying to stay under that 200 dollar limit, you gotta stop relying on those big scrapers. They are just too slow for the way Kohls moves stuff now. What actually works for me is using the Kohls app itself, but you have to use the In-Store Mode and scan items manually or set your filter to Store Pickup only. It is more work but way more accurate than the third-party sites. Also, look for specific Kohls Deals groups on Telegram or Facebook. There are people there who literally work at the stores and leak when the yellow tag markdowns are actually hitting the floor. It is not a magic button like it used to be, but it saves so much gas money.
