I've been a total pro at stacking Kohl's cash and coupons for years but I'm hitting a wall with their price tracking lately. I'm trying to snag that specific metallic blue KitchenAid stand mixer for my sister's wedding gift in October and the price keeps bouncing around like crazy. My usual chrome extensions just arent catching the drops fast enough and by the time I check my phone it's already back up or out of stock. I've got a $300 budget max but really want to hit that sweet spot with a sale price. Does anyone know a specific app or tracker that works specifically well with Kohl's backend to give real-time pings?

dude you gotta check out Slickdeals! its tech is absolutely insane for catching those Kohls price swings because the community pings are way faster than any basic extension. just set up any of their alert types and youre golden. ive tracked their backend data for ages and it never misses a beat... the latency is way lower than standard scrapers. you will definitely snag that mixer for cheap tho!

saw this today and wanted to weigh in... just gotta be careful with some of these third party trackers. which extensions were you actually using that failed you? im curious if they were just hitting a rate limit or if the kohls backend was blocking them entirely. here are some things i would suggest keeping in mind:

  • watch out for apps that ask for your kohl account login. it is a huge security risk and honestly not worth it for a discount.
  • be careful with real-time claims because most scrapers actually have a 15-minute delay to avoid getting banned by kohls firewall.
  • make sure the tool you pick handles sku-specific tracking. sometimes they just track the general product page and miss color-specific price drops like that metallic blue. the technical side of this is tricky because kohls uses pretty aggressive bot detection. i would suggest looking at Honey or similar tools for their price history features, but honestly, just be safe with your data above all else. hope you find that mixer for your sister though!
