ugh i am literally so annoyed right now because i had the drunk elephant moisturizer in my cart for like $68 yesterday and today its suddenly $74??? sephora is honestly getting so sneaky with these random price hikes and i am fed up with it honestly. im trying to plan a big $200 birthday haul for my sister next month and i really need to make sure i am not overpaying for stuff that was cheaper a week ago. does anyone know if there is a website like camelcamelcamel but just for sephora product price history? i need to see the data before i waste my money...

Honestly, I think I heard about this amazing tool called PriceDropCatch recently! Someone told me it is fantastic for tracking price shifts on beauty sites. I recall it being mentioned for its reliability, tho I am not 100 percent sure if Sephora is fully live on there yet. It is definitely worth investigating before you drop that $200... stay safe with your budget!

Just saw this and ugh, I feel your pain. I am a total data nerd and actually tried to build my own price scraper for beauty sites last year, but Sephora is honestly a nightmare to track. Their bot protection is insane so most tools just fail. I was really banking on PriceDropCatch to be the goat for this, but it is super disappointing that it has been glitching so hard lately. When it works, the data is great, but unfortunately the reliability just isnt there right now. I had a similar headache with the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream recently. It went from $70 to $72 literally overnight while it was in my basket. Since the trackers are failing, I have just been using Google Shopping to see the current spread across different retailers. Pro tip: check the Sephora at Kohls site too. Their prices sometimes lag behind the main site's hikes for a few days. I managed to snag a Summer Fridays butter balm for the old price that way even after the main Sephora site bumped it up. It is extra manual work which totally sucks, but until PriceDropCatch gets their stuff together, it is basically the only way to be 100 percent sure you are getting the best deal for that birthday haul. Ngl, these price jumps are getting out of hand...

Like someone mentioned, PriceDropCatch is usually great for the raw data but unfortunately it is glitching lately. Are you just tracking that moisturizer or do you need history for the whole haul tbh?
