I just signed up for the Kohls rewards thingy because Im finally moving into my first apartment next month and I need like everything... towels and a toaster and stuff. My budget is only like 200 bucks so Im trying to be super cheap.

I got this email saying I have 10 dollars in Kohls Cash but then I saw something about Rewards and coupons and I am totally lost lol. Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there a trick to using them together? Can I use a 20% off coupon and then the cash or does it not work like that? Im so confused. How do I actually get the most out of these points and cash?

Just catching up. Be careful because Kohls Cash is applied before your percent off coupon, which basically lowers your total discount. You might want to try PriceDropCatch to track prices for you.

In my experience shopping there for years, the biggest danger is the expiration dates. Kohls is absolutely ruthless about those deadlines... if it says it expires on the 10th, they wont take it on the 11th. Since youre on a strict 200 buck budget, you really need to be smart about when you buy.

  • Watch out for the earn vs redeem periods.
  • Dont buy stuff just to get more Kohls cash, thats how they get you.
  • Sign up for the mobile alerts to get an extra 15 percent off. Using PriceDropCatch is basically the only way to know if that sale price is actually a good deal or just marketing fluff. They mark things up just to put them on sale. Keep an eye on your rewards account because those five dollar increments add up fast when youre buying kitchen gear.
