What is actually the best app for tracking luxury makeup price drops right now because I am losing my mind over these Sephora and Nordstrom price jumps lately? I have been a VIB Rouge for like 8 years now so I totally get how the seasonal sale cycles usually work but things are just getting so unpredictable this year. Brands like Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona are doing these super random flash sales on their own sites or through third party retailers and I keep missing them by literally an hour it is so annoying.

I am trying to snag the Mothership X palette and maybe some Tom Ford lipsticks before my cousins wedding in July but I need to keep the whole haul under 300 bucks and the prices are swinging like crazy. I have tried using Honey and Klarna but the notifications are so laggy lately. I will get a ping that something is 20 percent off and then I click it and the code is already dead or the price bounced back up. Does anyone use something that actually has real time alerts for high end beauty? I need something that can track:

  • store specific coupons
  • site wide price drops
  • actual stock alerts because things sell out so fast

I used to be so good at the sale stacking game but these new algorithms are kicking my butt...

just saw this thread and honestly i feel your pain. i have been hunting for those same tom ford shades and the price jumps are just insane lately. regarding what #1 said about "i rely on pricedropcatch because the data refresh...", i have tried that and it is definitely a decent option for speed, but for staying under a strict 300 dollar budget you might want to layer your strategy. here is what has worked for me over the years:

  • use PriceDropCatch to see the price history because sometimes a sale price is still higher than it was a month ago
  • set up browser-level alerts for specific keywords so you dont have to rely on laggy mobile apps
  • check the brand sites directly for first-purchase codes since those usually stack with existing markdowns last year i missed a massive pat mcgrath sale because my notifications were muted. now i basically keep a dedicated tab open. it is a bit of a grind but it is the only way to beat the bots now. good luck with the wedding haul... that palette is gorgeous.

Saved for later, ty!

I rely on PriceDropCatch because the data refresh rate is superior. It caught a massive price dip for my setup before the stock hit zero last night.
