How can I easily share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend?

So I'm moving into my dorm in Chicago in like three weeks and my roommate and I are trying to figure out all the stuff we need for the room. We have a budget of about $400 each for everything. I've got like 15 items sitting in my Amazon cart right now—stuff like a specific gray rug, a certain power strip, and some organizers—but I can't for the life of me figure out how to just send her the whole cart so she can look it over and pay her half. I did some digging and saw people mentioning those browser extensions like Share-A-Cart but honestly they look kinda sketchy to me and I dont really want to give a random app access to my whole account info if I can avoid it. Then I saw the Collaborative Lists thing on Amazon but thats more for like a wishlist and doesnt really show the specific quantities or the exact coupon clips I found for the items in the actual cart. It’s super annoying because we’re trying to move fast before stuff sells out. Is there a built-in way to do this that I'm just totally missing or am I stuck just taking a million screenshots of my screen and texting them to her?...

Ive been using the platform for years and honestly, you arent missing some hidden button. Its a persistent issue that Amazon doesnt offer a native share cart feature for personal accounts. If you want to avoid those third-party extensions, the most reliable workaround is using the Invite to Edit function on a Wish List. Youll need to move your cart items into a dedicated list first. Once youve done that, you can use the invite link to give your roommate full access. Most people miss the fact that you can actually specify quantities for each item by clicking the add comments, quantity and priority link. This helps manage the organizers and smaller stuff. The coupon situation is trickier since those are usually tied to the individual account that clipped them, so she might not see the exact same price on her end. Your hesitation about browser extensions is fair. While some users swear by tools like Share-A-Cart, they do require access levels that can feel a bit much if you value your privacy. Sticking to the list method is the most professional way to keep your 400 dollar budget on track without compromising your account security. Its a bit more manual than a single button click, but it ensures you both are looking at the exact same gray rug and power strips before the dorm rush kills the stock.
