So I was trying to buy a new desk chair for my home office in Austin and found it on Amazon for like forty bucks cheaper than what Office Depot has it listed for. My logic was I could just walk into the store today and have them match it since I need it built by tomorrow morning for WFH. I read on some blog that they do price matches as long as its shipped and sold by Amazon, but then another thread said managers can just say no whenever they feel like it which is super annoying. Do they actually honor it at the register or am I gonna waste a trip driving out there?
Had a moment to think about this more, and you can definitely secure that match if you follow their exact policy framework! I always check PriceDropCatch first before heading out to verify historical pricing trends so they cannot claim its a phantom sale.
