Which Pixel 10 case works with wireless charging?

I just pre-ordered the Pixel 10 and I’m super excited to get it, but I’m a bit worried about finding the right case. I have a few high-speed wireless charging pads at home and in my car, and I’ve had issues in the past where thicker cases prevented the phone from drawing a charge properly. I’m looking for something that offers decent drop protection but isn't so bulky that it interferes with the Qi alignment. I’m especially curious if any of the new MagSafe-compatible or Qi2 cases for the Pixel 10 are causing issues with standard chargers. Does anyone have recommendations for a specific brand or model that definitely works with wireless charging without having to strip the case off every night?

For your situation, I totally get the anxiety about heat buildup and efficiency loss with wireless charging, especially if you're using high-speed pads. From a technical standpoint, the Pixel 10 is gonna be sensitive to the air gap between the coil and the charger. If that gap is more than about 3mm, the induction efficiency drops off a cliff, which causes the phone to get hot and throttle the charging speed.

I've been looking at a few options that prioritize safety and thermal management. First, there is the Bellroy Leather Case for Pixel 10. It is super slim, so the coil alignment is basically perfect, and leather actually handles heat dissipation way better than thick silicone. The downside? It's not as rugged for big drops, but it is great for high-speed charging.

Alternatively, you could look at the Torras Magnetic Guardian Case for Pixel 10. I think this one is cool because it has those embedded N52 magnets for Qi2/MagSafe. In my experience, having that magnetic lock actually REDUCES heat because the coils are perfectly centered every time, so you aren't wasting energy (which turns into heat) on a misaligned connection. It's definitely more protective than the Bellroy but thinner than those bulky rugged cases that turn your phone into a brick. Honestly, i'd say go with a dedicated Qi2-compatible case if ur using high-speed pads... it's just safer for the battery long-term. hope that helps! peace

yo, so i totally feel u on this. honestly, finding that sweet spot between "not breaking your phone" and "actually charging it" is a total nightmare sometimes. i’ve had issues in the past where some thick rugged cases basically turned my wireless pads into expensive coasters, which is sooo frustrating when u wake up to a dead battery, right??

anyway... i’ve been testing out some budget-friendly options cuz i refuse to spend $50 on a piece of plastic. unfortunately, some of the super cheap generic ones from amazon have been reallyyy hit or miss with the new qi2 alignment. but if u wanna save some cash while still getting that high-speed charge, i highkey recommend the Spigen Liquid Air for Pixel 10. it’s usually under $20 and it's super thin but still has that grippy texture. i've never had a single drop-out with my qi chargers using spigen.

if ur looking for that magsafe/qi2 vibe specifically, i actually tried the Caseology Athlex for Pixel 10 recently. it's basically the best bang for your buck at around $16-$18. it's got these cool integrated magnets that actually line up perfectly with standard chargers, so u dont have to fiddle with it for ten minutes every night. plus, it’s got decent drop protection without being like... a brick in ur pocket. basically, stick to the thinner tpu brands like spigen or caseology and u should be golden! gl with the new phone!! 👍

Ok so, I've been looking into this too cuz I hate taking my case off to charge. Pro tip: Check out the Dbrand Grip Case for Pixel 10 or the Mous Limitless 5.0 for Pixel 10. Basically, these are designed with built-in magnets that align perfectly with Qi chargers.

1. It's reallyyy about the coil alignment.
2. Thinner TPU cases like the Ringke Onyx for Pixel 10 also work great since they don't block the induction.

Hope that helps!! lol

Coming back to this... I've been around since the first Pixel and learned that expensive isnt always better.

1. Thin TPU: Usually under $20 and works 100% with high-speed pads.
2. Generic MagSafe rings: Add one to a cheap case for Qi2 alignment.

Its way more cost-effective than the big brands. Just be careful with "rugged" ones that are too thick... they literally just block the juice. peace.
