I'm moving from an iPhone 13 to the new Razr 2026 and I'm honestly lost. My iPhone screen cracked so easily and I'm terrified of breaking this folding one. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you even use normal screen protectors on these? I was thinking glass would just snap when it folds, right? My logic was maybe there's a special flexible plastic? I really need this to last since I care about the battery and I'm on a tight budget after buying it. Is there a specific brand for the Razr 2026 that actually works?

Oh man, this is exactly my thing. I have tested dozens of these. Do not use tempered glass on a folding screen. It will shatter. You need flexible TPU. The Supershieldz TPU Screen Protector 3-Pack is the best value for the Razr 2026. It is usually under $10 for three. Anyway, bottom line is stick to film like the Spigen NeoFlex Solid or you'll damage the hinge.

Honestly — and I cannot stress this enough — do not touch the factory film, but if you're determined to add a layer, go with the IQ Shield Liquid Shield Film. It's a wet install — wait, don't panic — which actually helps it settle into the crease better than dry films. It’s cheap, self-healing, and basically the only thing that won't lift after a week of heavy folding.
