So I just pulled the trigger on the Razr 2026 and Im kinda freaking out about the inner screen already lol. I’m coming from the 2023 model which I mostly loved—the size is perfect and the battery actually held up way better than I thought it would—but the screen protector was a total nightmare tbh. About eight months in it started peeling right at the crease and that weird crackling sound whenever I opened the phone literally gave me so much anxiety every single time. I tried to ignore it but then dust got under the film and I was so scared it was gonna scratch the actual display or mess up the hinge mechanism. Anyway I really want to protect this new one better but I know some people say you shouldnt ever touch the factory one because of the warranty stuff but the factory ones always seem to bubble eventually so im super torn. Im looking for something that won't lift at the hinge or mess with the touch sensitivity because I use the internal screen for everything including editing shots since the camera on this 2026 looks like a huge upgrade. Does anyone have a lead on high-quality 3rd party protectors that actually stick to the UTG or should I just leave it alone... what are the best options out right now?
ngl the factory film on the 2026 is miles better than that 2023 junk but if youre already seeing issues or just want a backup you gotta be careful because most 3rd party ones are straight garbage and will ruin your day but a few brands actually figured out the fold physics.
