Hey everyone! I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the new Motorola Razr+ (2025), and man, this phone is a total beauty. That massive outer display is even better in person, and the refresh rate is buttery smooth. However, I’m currently having a bit of a minor panic attack every time I take it out of my pocket. It feels incredibly sleek, but also pretty slippery, and with all that glass on the outside, I feel like I’m one accidental drop away from a very expensive repair bill.
I’ve been browsing online for the past few hours, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. It seems like a lot of the listings on Amazon are just generic brands or cases that look like they were rushed to market. I’m really looking for something high-quality that won’t ruin the aesthetic of the phone. My biggest concern is definitely hinge protection. Ok so, foldables basically require sub-millimeter tolerances to avoid putting lateral pressure on the hinge mechanism. If it's off, you risk damaging the display ribbon.
