I just finally pulled the trigger and pre-ordered the new Motorola Razr+ (2025) in that stunning Peach Fuzz color, and I’m honestly a bit terrified of dropping it. Since it’s a foldable, I know the hinge is a bit more delicate than your average slab phone, and that massive outer display looks like a total magnet for scratches. I’ve been scouring the web, but since the device is so new, I’m seeing a lot of generic brands on Amazon and I’m not sure which ones are actually reliable.
I’m looking for something that offers solid drop protection without making the phone feel like a literal brick in my pocket. Specifically, I’m curious if anyone has found a case that successfully protects the hinge while it's closed without adding too much bulk. Also, does anyone know of a case that has a slightly raised lip around the cover screen that doesn't interfere with swiping or gesture navigation? I’m usually a fan of brands like Spigen or Poetic, but I haven't seen many reviews for this specific model yet.
