Hey everyone, I managed to lose the stylus for my brand new Moto G Stylus (2025) while I was out at a coffee shop yesterday. I am honestly so bummed because I use the pen constantly for quick navigation and taking handwritten notes during meetings. Now I am left with that empty hole in the bottom of my phone, and it is driving me a bit crazy.
I have been looking around online for a replacement, but I am seeing a lot of generic options that claim to be universal. My main concern is finding one that fits perfectly into the built-in silo without getting stuck or rattling around. The 2025 model feels like it might have slightly different dimensions than the previous years, so I am hesitant to just buy a 2024 version and hope for the best. I also want to make sure the replacement tip is soft enough that it won't leave any micro-scratches on my screen over time.
I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra money to order an official one directly from Motorola or if there is a reliable third-party brand that you all recommend. Does anyone know if the official 2025 replacement is available yet, or has anyone found a high-quality alternative that fits flush in the phone's slot?

Quick question - does ur phone detect it's missing?? Silo sensors are tricky. Seconding the recommendation above for the official brand! Honestly, in my experience, ur way better off spending the extra cash now. Just get any stylus from Motorola, you cant go wrong with the official fitment cuz the 2025 silo specs are unique. Plus, they ensure tip hardness meets screen specs to avoid micro-abrasions.
- look for authorized OEM resellers to save a bit
