Can anyone recommend some high-quality wireless earbuds that'll work perfectly with the new OnePlus 15? I’m finally switching from my ancient iPhone 11 and I’m honestly so confused by all the different tech specs and brands out there—I just want something that sounds amazing and connects without any drama.

I’ve been trying to research this (sorry if these are dumb questions) and I keep seeing the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and those Sony XM5 ones mentioned. The Sony ones look like they might be too big for my ears—and I’m worried about them being uncomfortable—but people say the sound is the best. On the other hand, does staying with the same brand (OnePlus) actually make the connection better or is that just a sales tactic?

My main things are:

  • Battery life (my old phone dying constantly has made me paranoid about this)
  • Not too bulky or heavy
  • Under $250 if possible

I'm mostly upgrading because my iPhone's battery is shot and I really want a better camera for travel photos, but the headphone situation is stressing me out. Also, I saw some stuff about 'spatial audio'—is that actually worth it or just a gimmick for someone who just listens to podcasts and pop music? I'm just a bit overwhelmed with the switch to Android...

  • Spot on. Staying with the same brand isn't just a tactic; it's about not wasting time on setup. I fix my own truck to avoid the $160/hour labor rate at the dealership, and I apply that same logic to tech. Efficiency is worth the money.
  • <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2: I bought these for $100. Over 18 months, that is roughly 18 cents a day. The battery still holds a full charge after heavy use while I am re-shingling the roof. The integration with the phone settings menu is much faster than using separate apps.
  • Soundcore Liberty 4 NC: These are usually $90. I got a pair for my kid to save a ton. They lack the LHDC codec, but for podcasts, the difference is negligible. You save $160 over the "premium" brands.
  • Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2: These are built for abuse. I dropped mine in a bucket of joint compound while fixing the drywall and they still work fine. Spatial audio is a gimmick for pop music and podcasts. It drains the battery 20% faster. I keep it off. Stick with the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+Buds+Pro+3&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 3. The fast charging is the real deal—10 minutes of charging gives you hours of playback. My dealer wanted $450 for a brake job, but I did it for $110 and bought these with the leftovers.

TL;DR: Get <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+Buds+Pro+3&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 3. Integration allows LHDC 5.0 and 43 hours battery life. They are 25% smaller than Sony WF-1000XM5, making them better for small ears.
