What are the absolute best wireless earbuds to pair with the new OnePlus 13 if I want to actually take advantage of the hardware? I'm finally upgrading from my trusty (but dying) OnePlus 9 Pro—the battery on that thing is basically a joke now and I’m tired of carrying a power bank everywhere just to take photos—and I want to get the audio situation right from day one.

I've been doing some digging and I'm torn. I read that the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are the "intended" pair because of the fast pairing and the LHDC 5.0 support, but then I see people on Reddit claiming the Sony WF-1000XM5 has better noise cancellation and soundstage. But does the Sony play nice with the OnePlus OxygenOS features? I'm really looking for that seamless experience where everything just works when I open the case.

My main priorities are:

  • Battery life (obviously, given my trauma with the 9 Pro lol)
  • Comfort for long sessions—I have smaller ears so some "pro" buds feel like rocks
  • Solid ANC for when I'm commuting or at the gym
  • Budget is around $250-$300, so I'm willing to pay for quality.

I'm also curious about the Bose QuietComfort Ultras, but I've heard they have some weird connection drops with Android phones sometimes? I don't know if that's still an issue with the newer Bluetooth versions on the OP13. It's just a lot of conflicting info out there and I want to make sure I'm not missing out on some specific OnePlus-only feature by going with a third-party brand.

Oh, and one more thing—do the OnePlus buds still have that "dual connection" thing where I can swap between my laptop and phone easily? That’s kind of a dealbreaker for me if I'm gonna be using them for work calls too. Let me know what you guys are rocking with your 13s!
