What are the best fast chargers and power banks for the OnePlus 13 that actually hit max speeds? I'm upgrading from a Galaxy S21 and the battery life is driving me crazy, so charging speed is my top priority. I've been looking online and I'm stressed about buying the wrong gear. Some threads say only the official SuperVOOC blocks get the full 100W, but then I read that some PD 3.1 PPS chargers might work too. I don't want to drop $60 on a power bank just for it to charge at 15W or something slow. Is there a specific third-party brand that actually works for this phone?

> "I don't want to drop $60 on a power bank" Like someone mentioned, skip the official markup. I bought the Anker 737 Power Bank 140W. It saved me $50 and handles every device we own. Better cost per year.

> "Some threads say only the official SuperVOOC blocks get the full 100W" Everyone repeats that official-only line like it's gospel but — wait, no — it’s just effective marketing. You’re paying a massive "brand tax" for that OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W Power Adapter when, honestly, a budget-friendly Baseus 100W Blade Power Bank hits PPS speeds that are plenty fast for way less cash. Don’t let the hype-train convince you that you absolutely need a $60 brick.

Building on the earlier suggestion, ngl the whole SuperVOOC or bust thing is mostly just clever marketing to make us overpay for plastic. Everyone recommends the official stuff because they dont wanna risk it, but tbh those reviews are lowkey paid half the time. IIRC OnePlus started being a bit more chill with their PD standards lately so you might not even need the proprietary tech to get decent speeds.

  • i think you just need a cable that can actually handle the current, which is where most people mess up.
  • someone told me that even if it doesnt hit exactly 100W, the difference between 80W and 100W is basically UNNOTICEABLE in real life.
  • iirc the newer PPS standards are way more compatible than people think... Not sure but i think as long as the charger has PPS 3.1 youll be totally fine...
