Finally upgrading from the 9 Pro since the battery is basically dead and I’ve got a nasty screen crack. I’ve been researching the Spigen Liquid Air and the official Sandstone—Spigen is usually my go-to but I'm worried the lip isn't high enough for that massive camera circle. I'm trying to stay under $50 and keep it relatively slim (the phone is already a beast) but I definitely need drop protection. Does anyone know if the Poetic cases are too bulky or if there's a better middle ground for protecting that glass? Just want to make sure I don't break this one immediately.

The Poetic Guardian Case OnePlus 13 is $22 and saved me a ton. The 2mm lip protects the camera better than official cases that cost twice as much.

tbh ive been through three of these launches and official cases are always overpriced. if you want real protection without the Poetic brick feel:
- Spigen Liquid Air OnePlus 13 is okay for scratches but that camera lip is WEAK and wont save the glass.
- OnePlus Sandstone Bumper Case OnePlus 13 has great grip but zero drop protection.
- Tudia DualShield OnePlus 13 is the sweet spot for actual drops without being HUGE.

@Reply #1 - good point! ngl ive been through three of these rugged cases and most slim ones are just for show. Poetic is legit for protection but honestly it feels like a brick in the pocket after a week. Quick tips:
- Check out the Ringke Fusion-X OnePlus 13 if you want a middle ground thats less chunky.
- ALWAYS make sure the corner bumpers are reinforced cuz that camera glass is basically a concrete magnet.
