Upgrading from a OnePlus 8 and the slow charging is driving me crazy. Battery barely lasts half the day now. I need the OnePlus 13 to charge as fast as possible for work. I've looked at the official 100W SuperVOOC, but I'm seeing mixed info about GaN chargers. Some people say third-party blocks still cap out at 27W even if they're rated higher. I need something that actually hits top speeds before my trip next week and I don't want to waste money on a brick that doesn't actually work. Which fast chargers provide the best speeds for OnePlus 13?

Re: "oh man this is exactly my thing... i..." - ngl i wasted so much cash on generic bricks before realizing only the official stuff hits those speeds. grab these if you wanna go FAST:
- OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W Dual Port Power Adapter
- OnePlus SuperVOOC 80W GaN Power Adapter anything else is just too SLOW...

Search the forum, there is a thread about this but the short answer is you must use SuperVOOC hardware. For your trip, these provide the fastest speeds:
- OnePlus SuperVOOC 160W Power Adapter
- OnePlus SuperVOOC 80W Car Charger
- Oppo SuperVOOC 100W Dual Port Flash Charger Oppo and OnePlus share proprietary tech. Official Oppo SuperVOOC bricks rated for 100W or higher will charge the OnePlus 13 at full speed.

oh man this is exactly my thing... i spent way too long testing protocols and people ALWAYS get burned by the fine print on those GaN bricks.
- most third party blocks use PD/PPS which caps you at 27W
- generic cables wont handle the high amperage anyway bottom line is dont trust the 100W label unless it EXPLICITLY mentions SuperVOOC or youre gonna be stuck at a crawl... ngl its a total trap.
