I'm finally moving on from my ancient Galaxy A52—the battery is basically a joke at this point and it takes forever to charge. I'm looking at the Galaxy A56 5G because the camera looks decent for the price and I really need that big battery for my long shifts. But I'm kind of stressing over the accessories since Samsung doesn't put anything in the box anymore.
I've been looking at chargers and I'm honestly so confused. I saw some Reddit threads saying the A56 might support 45W charging now, but then a tech blog said it's still capped at 25W? I don't want to overspend on the 45W brick if the phone can't even use it, you know? Plus, I'm worried about "negotiated" speeds with 3rd party brands like Anker—my logic was that the official one is safer, but it's so much more expensive.
Then there's the earbuds. My budget is tight after buying the phone (trying to stay under $100 for the buds). I saw the Galaxy Buds FE are cheap, but I read a few reviews saying the fit is weird for smaller ears. I just want something that won't fall out when I'm running for the bus. Oh, and does the A56 even have a headphone jack? I'm pretty sure it doesn't, so I definitely need wireless. Does anyone actually know the max charging speed for sure, and what buds are actually comfortable for long wear?
tbh the whole 45w situation is such a headache bc samsung is so inconsistent. everyone says get the official Samsung 45W USB-C Wall Charger but its literally a scam... youre paying for a logo. the a56 does support 45w finally but dont waste money on the branded brick. for the buds... reviewers act like Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are the best thing ever but the fit is actually super hit or miss. if you have smaller ears those wingtips are gonna HURT after an hour. heres what id actually do:
