I’m finally upgrading to the S25 Ultra and want to keep it pristine! I’m torn between a slim case or something rugged like Spigen. Also, does anyone know a glass screen protector that actually works with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor? I'm worried about losing responsiveness. What brands are you all planning to buy?
In my experience, try these:
* Samsung Official Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector for Galaxy S25 Ultra
* Ringke Onyx Case for Galaxy S25 Ultra
Film is safer for sensors, and these are cheap. gl!
yo honestly, id be careful spending $50 on glass. I would suggest the amFilm OneTouch Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy S25 Ultra cuz it's usually like $12 for a two-pack and actually works with the sensor! Plus, the Spigen Liquid Air for Galaxy S25 Ultra is a total steal at $15... it keeps it slim but safe. just make sure you re-scan your prints after installing so it stays snappy!!
Building on the earlier suggestion, sticking to film is definitely the more reliable path for the fingerprint sensor. Honestly though, I have been pretty disappointed with the thin cases people are recommending lately. They are just not as good as expected for actual protection. I had issues with a similar setup where a small drop still caused frame damage because the case was too slim. For me, the safety of the device has to come first. It is better to have a slightly bulkier setup that you can actually trust to survive a fall rather than something that just looks sleek. Reliability is key when you are spending this much on a phone.
