upgrading from my s21 and the battery was a joke but now this s26 isnt even hitting the right speeds with my old bricks even though i know how pps works its so annoying tbh. i need super fast charging 2.0 for the battery life i was promised so which 45w charger is actually best?
This comes up a lot — seriously, search the forum — but I’ve been there, spending way too much on gear. I finally stopped buying the pricey ones after I lost my third — or fourth? — charger. Wait, no — I mean I just went the budget route.
tbh i went through like three bricks before i actually got the sfc 2.0 badge to show up. its lowkey annoying because a lot of chargers claim 45w but they dont have the specific pps profiles for samsung. you need a brick that can push at least 4.05a at 11v or it just wont happen... i wasted money on a random 65w gan charger that only did 25w on my phone because the pps range was too narrow. the Samsung 45W USB-C Power Adapter T4510 is the safest bet but if you want something smaller i use the Anker 313 Charger Ace 45W now and it hits the max speeds every time. just make SURE you are using a 5a cable with the e-marker chip or the phone will literally block the 45w speed even with the right brick. it makes a HUGE difference when you only have 15 minutes to top off before leaving...
ngl you just need a pps 2.0 brick. i was lowkey mad when my old ones failed but my current setup finally works after i learned about the right cable from reddit.
