My S25 Ultra is arriving Tuesday and I'm lowkey panicking because the frame looks slightly different than my S24 and I'm seeing weird reports about fitment. I've been using Ultras for years but these new dimensions are throwing me off. I need solid protection ASAP but dont want a brick.
Looking for:
I usually go with Spigen but heard their S25 cutouts are slightly off this year. Is Whitestone still the go-to for the glass or should I try something else? I really dont want to scratch this thing day one...
Tbh I've tried many and Caseology Athlex MagSafe for S25 Ultra is basically the safest choice. Grab Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for S25 Ultra too... wont mess with the sensor at all.
^ This. Also, Torras Magnetic Guardian for S25 Ultra has fantastic MagSafe pull! Pair it with Whitestone Dome Glass S25 Ultra 2-Pack for amazing ultrasonic clarity and zero fingerprint lag. Love this setup!
Be careful with those Spigen reports, the S25 Ultra frame is definitely flatter on the sides which changes the grip pressure on certain TPU cases. I would suggest looking at Ringke Onyx Magnetic Case for S25 Ultra because their MagSafe implementation is consistently centered for proper charging alignment. Its thin enough to avoid that brick feel you hate but the magnets are actually stronger than most hybrid cases Ive tested. For the screen, Whitestone is fine but the price usually eats your whole budget. Make sure to check out the amFilm OneTouch Glass Screen Protector for S25 Ultra instead. Its half the price and works perfectly with the ultrasonic sensor as long as you re-register your prints after install. Quick tip: toggle on the Touch Sensitivity setting in the display menu immediately. If you skip that, the sensor might feel laggy even with high-end glass. I dont think you need to spend over $60 if you stick to these two.
Same boat, watching this
Totally agree on being cautious with the new frame. I found a combo that works well without spending a fortune...
