Hey everyone! I just pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and I am pretty nervous about keeping it safe since it is such a huge investment. I am looking for solid protection that will not make this giant phone feel like a literal brick.
I am specifically looking for:
I have seen so many random brands online but I want something reliable. What are the best protective cases and screen protectors you have found for the S25 Ultra?
tbh if you want the best of both worlds without spending 100 bucks on gear, I'd look at the Caseology Parallax Case for Samsung S25 Ultra Matte Black. I have used this series on my last three Ultras and the 3D texture on the back makes it way easier to hold such a massive phone without it feeling like a brick. The camera lip is deep enough that you dont have to worry about scratching the lenses when you set it down. For the screen, dont mess around with cheap plastic film if you want that premium feel. The Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for S25 Ultra 2-Pack is basically the gold standard for a reason:
I'd go with the Spigen Liquid Air Case for S25 Ultra and amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass for S25 Ultra. They're super affordable and work great with the fingerprint sensor without adding bulk.
I've been down this road with basically every Ultra model for years now. Honestly, the biggest lesson I learned early on was about how that ultrasonic sensor reacts to different materials. On a previous phone, I tried a thick tempered glass kit and it basically turned my fingerprint scanner into a paperweight. I had to re-register my prints like five times and it still only worked half the time. Ngl, it was super frustrating. Eventually, I figured out that for the S-Pen to stay snappy and the sensor to actually work, you really gotta look at the adhesive type. I shifted over to using those liquid adhesive kits that use a UV light to cure the glue. It is a total mess to install, definitely watch a tutorial video first, but the clarity is insane and it doesnt mess with the pen sensitivity at all. For the case, I used to go for those massive rugged ones but they made the phone way too heavy for my pocket. My current setup is a super slim aramid fiber case. It doesnt have the crazy drop protection of a tank, but the lip around the cameras is deep enough that I dont worry about scratches when I set it down on a table. Just watch out for cases with magnets if you use the S-Pen a lot... I had one once that created a dead spot right in the middle of the screen whenever I tried to draw. Kinda a weird technical quirk but definitely something to keep in mind for these huge phones.
Honestly, one thing you really gotta watch out for are those super cheap no-name cases you see on big retail sites. They often claim to have a raised lip, but when the phone actually arrives, the camera lenses are basically flush with the plastic. With a phone this expensive, that is just asking for scratches. Also, a huge red flag for me is any screen protector that uses a dot matrix grid. They usually have a visible circle over the fingerprint sensor that looks terrible and ruins the screen clarity. Another thing... be super careful with magnetic cases. If they arent designed perfectly, the magnets can actually interfere with the S-Pens digitizer and create dead spots where you cant draw or write. Its super annoying to find out after youve already stuck everything on. I always tell people to check the reviews specifically for S-Pen interference before hitting buy... better safe than sorry ngl.
