Hey everyone! I just finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I am beyond excited to get my hands on it next week. I am upgrading from a pretty beat-up S21, so I know a lot has changed in the accessory world since I last shopped around. I really want to make sure this beast is protected from day one, but I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options on Amazon and the Samsung store.

Specifically, I am looking for advice on a few things:

  • Screen protectors that do not ruin the awesome anti-reflective coating on the new display.
  • Slim cases that still offer decent drop protection and maybe some extra grip since the phone is so large.
  • Reliable 45W chargers that actually hit the top speeds consistently.

I have also heard some people talking about magnetic rings for cases to use Magsafe-style accessories, which sounds super useful for car mounts, but I am worried it might mess with the S-Pen functionality. I would love to hear what you guys are planning to pick up or what brands have been reliable for you lately. I really do not want to waste money on cheap stuff that fails after a month.

What are the absolute must-have accessories you are recommending for the S25 Ultra?

Adding my two cents here, especially since you are coming from an older device. For cases, if you want slimness plus insane grip, I always go for the Ringke Onyx Galaxy S25 Ultra Case. It has this sandy texture on the back that makes the phone way less slippery, and it is usually under 15 bucks on Amazon, which is a steal imo. Regarding the MagSafe/S-Pen concern, I have found that most cases with built-in rings dont interfere by themselves. The issue only happens when you actually attach a strong magnetic accessory like a wallet or car mount; it can create a dead spot for the S-Pen while it is attached. But once you pull the accessory off, the S-Pen goes back to normal instantly. If you want to add this functionality to a regular case, the ESR Halolock Universal Ring is a solid DIY kit. For the screen, definitely look into the Whitestone Dome Glass S25 Ultra Screen Protector. It uses a liquid UV adhesive that is the gold standard for keeping the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor fast. It is a bit of a project to install, but it feels just like the original glass and wont peel off easily. If you need a reliable brick, the UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W GaN Charger supports the 45W PPS spec and is super compact. For more research, I highly recommend checking out the r/GalaxyS25Ultra subreddit or the XDA Developers forums. They have massive community threads where people test every single screen protector against that anti-reflective coating to see which ones actually work without ruining the view.

The Samsung Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector S25 Ultra keeps that low reflectance, whereas Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit S25 Ultra adds glare despite better 9H protection. Also, Anker 715 Charger 65W hits 45W PPS easily.

Late to the party but I gotta chime in on the technical side of the charging situation. To actually hit that Super Fast Charging 2.0 status, you need a charger that supports PPS (Programmable Power Supply) at 5 Amps. A lot of chargers claim 45W or 65W but they only output 3A, which will actually throttle your S25 Ultra to 25W. I personally use the UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W GaN Charger 3-Port because it handles the 11V/4.05A profile perfectly. Just make sure you use a 5A-rated E-marker cable or the brick wont matter. Regarding the S-Pen and Magsafe... yeah, there is definitely an issue there. The S-Pen works via EMR (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) which relies on a low-power magnetic field from the digitizer. When you slap a Magsafe ring on there, the magnets interfere with that field, creating dead zones where the pen wont register or will jitter. If you go that route, look for a case like the Pitaka MagEZ Case 5 for Galaxy S25 Ultra 600D Aramid Fiber which uses high-grade materials to minimize thickness while keeping magnets aligned. For the screen, honestly, any glass will increase reflections compared to the bare S25 Ultra glass. But if you want the best tech, the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for S25 Ultra is basically the gold standard. The liquid adhesive (LOCA) is much better for the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor than the cheap edge-only glue protectors, tho it is a bit of a process to install. For pure grip without bulk, check out the Ringke Onyx Case for Galaxy S25 Ultra too, the texture is great.

Basically, keep an eye on magnet quality to save your S-Pen. I'd grab the ESR Armorite Screen Protector S25 Ultra if you want serious durability that still looks great.
