Upgrading from an old S21 and the slow charging was my biggest headache. Finally got the S26 Ultra and need a brick that actually hits top speeds. Budget is under $50. I'm torn between the official Samsung 45W and the Anker 715. The Anker is smaller but I've heard Samsung phones are picky with PPS protocols. Also looked at a UGREEN Nexode 45W for cheaper. Which one actually hits the max speed consistently without getting hot?
tbh i hate spending money on plastic bricks but you gotta do it right... carrier store wanted $50 but i got the Samsung 45W USB-C Fast Charging Wall Charger for $32 on sale.
This is exactly my thing. The Anker 313 Charger Ace 45W is the correct choice. It supports the 5A PPS protocol for Super Fast Charging 2.0. I tested it against the Spigen ArcStation Pro 45W and the Anker stays 5 degrees cooler during peak power draw. TL;DR: Get the Anker 313 Charger Ace 45W. It hits 45W consistently for under $30.
