How can I get notifications when Sephora items go on sale?

Ive been shopping at Sephora for like a decade now and Im a Rouge member so I usually have the sale calendar down to a science but lately the app is completely failing me and its getting so annoying. I have a huge Loves list of stuff Ive been waiting to restock like the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream and some Dior Lip Oils but the push notifications just... dont happen? Or they come in like three hours after the item is already out of stock.

Im trying to save some money for a big wedding Im attending in June so Im on a pretty tight budget right now and really need to catch these deals the second they drop. I thought I had my settings dialed in but even when I check the Notify Me button on out of stock items or wait for price drops on my favorites list it feels like Im screaming into a void. I even tried setting up some general email alerts but my inbox is just a mess of marketing fluff and I miss the actual it is on sale now emails.

Is there some third party app or a browser extension that actually works for Sephora specifically? I used to use Honey for tracking but it feels hit or miss lately with their actual price drop alerts. I just want something that pings my phone immediately when a price changes on a specific SKU.

Ive been doing this for years and never had this much trouble but the app update last month seemed to break everything for me. I even cleared my cache and reinstalled the app but still nothing. Are there Discord servers for this or maybe some kind of script I can run? I just want to know how you guys are actually getting notified before everything sells out because checking the app every hour is driving me insane...

Honestly the app is such a mess lately! I had the exact same issue with my Rouge status not actually helping with alerts. Since you are on a tight budget for that wedding, you definitely need something more reliable than those push notifications. I have had fantastic results by switching to a more methodical tracking system:

  • Install any price tracking extension from Karma. Just get their general browser tool and it works perfectly for Sephora.
  • Set up a tracker with Klarna. Their price drop alerts are way more consistent than the Sephora app ever is.
  • Join some restock monitor groups on social media platforms because they are amazing for real-time pings. Using these external tools is basically the only way I catch those Dior restocks now! Seriously, just go with any tracker from those main brands and you will be set. Its way better than checking the app every hour...

Re: "Honestly the app is such a mess lately!..." I hear you. In my experience, these big retail apps are notoriously buggy. I've tried many tools over the years and prefer simple monitors that dont require my login credentials for safety reasons. Direct site tracking is just way more reliable than those delayed push notifications. Found PriceDropCatch a few weeks ago and it's already helped me snag that Dior perfume at a decent discount.
